Bring Sunscreen.

Skies are partly cloudy this morning, and the mercury is already creeping into the mid-50s; we’re expecting today’s high somewhere around 75F. Ski or ride this morning on 16 trails with 2 lifts spinning to get you there. The Jet Triple is slated for a 9:00 AM start, with the Taxi Quad spinning starting at 8:30 AM. Last chair today will be at 4:00 PM. Snow conditions will be very soft and surf-like, and sounds like our Grooming fleet did minimal maintenance in the night, in an effort to protect our late-season snowpack.

With just shy of 500 inches of snow for the season, we are now one of only two resorts in Vermont still spinning the lifts seven days a week. And despite warm temps and the occasional sogginess, we expect to keep skiing and riding until May 7 (maybe even longer depending on if any of us up here are still standing and can turn on the lifts.)

End of season lift tickets are currently $35 for Juniors ages 6-18 and $49 for Adults ages 19+.

TRAM AND SPRING LIFT UPDATE: The Tram has closed for the winter season. The upgrade project is underway and the Tram is scheduled to re-open this summer. Stay tuned for video updates of the $5 million project throughout the spring. As for the rest of the lifts on Tramside......they're closed too. The Stateside area of the resort will remain open seven days a week until....well, until we're tired of skiing and riding.

Looking to stay with us? Spring lodging rates are $115 for 2 people and $135 for family of 4.These are valid April 27-29 and May 5-6. Give a call to our Reservations Team at 800-451-4449 to learn more.

Mardi Gras And Mississippi

By Andrew, on Mon, Mar 03, 2014

Raw southern grit that sticks to your ribs, the North Mississippi Allstars bring a unique sound of the south and their own brand of rock and roll charged blues. Music that stings the soul and bites the tongue like a swig off the old man's jug. Continuing our winter music series, we are honored to host these heavy hitters as part of our 12th Annual Mountain Mardi Gras. Special events and activities are going on all week long to celebrate, including Cajun and Creole-inspired food specials, après oyster shucking and crawfish boiling and of course, plenty of odd hats. Get all this week's dates and details HERE to make the most of your Mardi Gras at Jay Peak.

And amidst all the masked madness, make sure you don't miss the The North Missisippi Allstars, Live in the Foeger Ballroom on Thursday, March 6th.
