No Wedding Day Woes

Looking back on their wedding journey through Jay Peak, Jonathan and Michelle recount their experience, from first visit to final reception.
From the Bride & Groom:
My husband and I recently got married on May 20, 2016 and had our reception in the International Room at Jay Peak. We just wanted to thank everyone at Jay Peak for their attentiveness toward making our wedding day so special.From our first visit January 23, 2015 to our wedding day, the process was made so simple by Heather Jerrett and Amanda Rondeau along with the rest of the Jay Peak staff.
On our very first visit Heather was so attentive and showed us each potential reception venue. She was so kind and answered all of our questions with such grace and ease. We absolutely loved the International Room, and the date we had picked as a potential wedding date just happened to be one of the few May 2016 dates left available.
Jay Peak was the first venue we visited, and we were so surprised by how perfect it was for us. The next day we booked the venue.
Throughout the next year we were contacted by Amanda to set up our first wedding coordinating meeting, which she made so convenient by coming to our house! Then we had our first tasting, which was so much fun and so delicious. Unfortunately, one of our meal options was not available to taste at the first tasting, so Heather and Amanda made it possible for us to come for a second tasting!
In the months, weeks, and days before our wedding, Amanda made the process so easy by answering all of our questions, communicating quickly and letting us know what additional information was needed from us. Also, due to renovations on Tram House Lodge where we were supposed to have our complimentary wedding night stay, Amanda was able to move us to a beautiful pent house suite in Hotel Jay!
The day before the wedding while we set up the International Room, Amanda made sure to have maintenance come in to fix some last minute issues from chipped paint on the wall to lightbulbs that were not lit and any other minor issue we noticed.
The day of, Amanda did a beautiful job coordinating everything, from making sure there were cheese, crackers, and water for the wedding party when we first got there, moving the buffet off the dance floor for our entrance and first dance, to showing our guests outside for our sparkler sendoff.
Thank you so much Heather, Amanda, Michael Eldred, and the whole Jay Peak Staff for helping to make our wedding day absolutely perfect!
