**Our internet prayers have been answered**

Temps dipped back below the freezing point last night and froze up a lot of our terrain. Our groomers flattened everything out and putting a fresh till on anyting they could. They said they avoided the steeps again to make sure we can ride that out into next month.

Looks like we'll have 30 open trails for skiing and riding today. Expect firm turns this morning, followed quickly by an afternoon that will feel much more like Spring.

We plan on running the Jet Triple and Bonaventure Quad for upper mountain access starting at 9:00 AM, at 8:30 AM The Taxi Quad will begin servicing our lower mountain. Last chair for all lifts is at 4:00 PM.

End of season lift tickets are currently $45 for Juniors ages 6-18 and $59 for Adults ages 19+.

TRAM AND SPRING LIFT UPDATE: The Tram is officially closed for the winter season. The upgrade project is underway and the Tram is scheduled to re-open this summer. Stay tuned for video updates of the $5 million project throughout the spring. As for the rest of the lifts on Tramside......they're closed too.. The Stateside area of the resort will remain open seven days a week until....well, until we're tired of skiing and riding. With close to 500 inches of snow this season, we'll be taking the season out into May.

Looking to stay with us? Spring lodging rates are $115 for 2 people and $135 for family of 4.These are valid April 27-29 and May 5-6. Give a call to our Reservations Team at 800-451-4449 to learn more.

Update On Current Events

By Andrew, on Thu, Apr 14, 2016

As you may have heard, we here at Jay Peak will be working with Leisure Hotels and Resorts (LHR) to continue managing Jay Peak same as it ever was. Current ownership is working with state and federal officials surrounding their ongoing investigation relative to the EB5 Foreign Investment Program. That process is distinct and not connected to the day to day operations of the mountain, indoor waterpark, golf course, lodging or any of our amenities that continue to be available on a daily basis here. Our longtime CMO Steve Wright has recently been named General Manager and he, along with LHR will be responsible for the day to day operations of the resort.

We are anticipating our busiest summer on record with music, conferences, almost 70 weddings and a host of other business segments and we look forward to keeping on. It is an awkward time for us on the ground as well and we appreciate you giving us some room to figure all of this out. We will absolutely keep you in the loop as this takes more shape and appreciate your support as we move toward a much more sustainable future. We will be operating for skiing and riding this week and through the weekend and have decided to continue operations through next week, weather permitting on both sides of the mountain, through the 24th. We’ll take a look at conditions thereafter and make a call about going for May.

Again, thanks so much-we appreciate your support more than you know.
