Sprinkles ending.

Sleep in this morning and let the last of the evening's showers pass. Once that happpens (around 10:30 AM or so, if weather apps are to be believed,) the skies are expected to clear a bit, temps will be in the upper 50s, and the snow will be soft and spring-like. By tomorrow, the sun will be back in force and the mercury will be pushing 70.

With just shy of 500 inches of snow for the season, we are now one of only two resorts in Vermont still spinning the lifts seven days a week. And despite this latest round of sogginess, we expect to keep skiing and riding until May 7 (maybe even longer depending on if any of us up here are still standing and can turn on the lifts.)

Today we plan to have the Jet Triple and Taxi Quad open, along with 23 trails, maybe less. Because of last night's showers conditions are wet-ish, but the groomers did manage to roll over most of them. The Jet is slated for a 9:00 AM start, while the Taxi will spin at 8:30 AM. Last chair today will be at 4:00 PM.

End of season lift tickets are currently $35 for Juniors ages 6-18 and $49 for Adults ages 19+.

TRAM AND SPRING LIFT UPDATE: The Tram has closed for the winter season. The upgrade project is underway and the Tram is scheduled to re-open this summer. Stay tuned for video updates of the $5 million project throughout the spring. As for the rest of the lifts on Tramside......they're closed too. The Stateside area of the resort will remain open seven days a week until....well, until we're tired of skiing and riding.

Looking to stay with us? Spring lodging rates are $115 for 2 people and $135 for family of 4.These are valid April 27-29 and May 5-6. Give a call to our Reservations Team at 800-451-4449 to learn more.

Coming to the Foeger Ballroom May 31, Jay Peak is proud to present the Dark Star Orchestra. To add even more color to this momentous occasion, we are offering lodging packages starting at $177 per night for 2 people in a Hotel Jay room including waterpark, lodging, and general admission tickets. Get the same package with VIP passes for $307.

The Dark Star Orchestra has been playing live shows together since 1997, so far performing over 1900 shows and counting. From among the nearly 2,500 shows performed by the Grateful Dead throughout the band's history, the Dark Star Orchestra has built off the Dead's extensive catalog and talent. On any given night the band will perform a show based on a set list from the Grateful Dead's thirty years of touring, or use their catalog to program a unique set list from various eras of the Grateful Dead shows, while simultaneously offering their own informed improvisations.
