More snow today into tonight.

6-8” of fresh landed last night and we’ve picked up another 2” between first & last chair today. Patrol dropped a plethora of ropes today on some of our favorite trails, like Valhalla, Green Beret and Beaver Pond. If that wasn’t enough to write home about, more snow is forecasted to land tonight into the weekend.

On the snowmaking front...crews are setting up on Angel's Wiggle and will run the guns from the Wiggle fence right on down through the Taxi trail  through today. It will make for some soft turns on that route, but it will close Angel's Wiggle, Taxi trail, Lower Milk Run, and maybe a few more.

Eight lifts are scheduled to spin today with the upper-mountain lifts including the Jet Triple, the Bonaventure Quad, and the tram, planned for 9:00AM and all lower-mountain lifts spinning at 8:30AM. As always, last chair for all lifts is at 4:00PM.

Lift tickets for adults (19+) are $79 and kids 6-18 are $62. Tickets can be purchased at both Stateside and Tramside Customer Service Locations.

Successful EB-5 Projects

Jay Peak has successfully completed six EB-5 projects, including:

The Tram Haus Lodge was Jay Peak's first EB-5 project.  35 investors were welcomed to the project in 2007 with $17.5 million raised and invested into the facility.  It opened in December 2009.  57 one, two and three bedroom suites made up the partner's equity and were fully owned by the partners.  Also within the facility is a restaurant, après ski bar, coffee shop and day spa.  Over 225 guests can be accommodated in the suites of the Tram Haus Lodge.  It is a beautiful 4-Star lodge located a few feet from four Jay Peak ski lifts and is adjoined with the 60 person Aerial Tramway that takes skiers and sightseer's to the 4,000 foot summit of Jay Peak.

All 35 investors have been approved at the I-526 level and all 35 have had conditions removed at the I-829 level. We have now bought back the hotel from the investors and they are having their initial $500,000 investment returned to them.

This significant project welcomed 150 investors and consists of a 120-suite hotel complex, conference center, indoor water park, ice arena and golf clubhouse.  It has created weatherproof amenities and further expanded the Jay Peak bed base.  Adding accommodations has been a top priority of the Jay Peak EB-5 business plan.  Adding bed base is the surest way to increase profitability.

Jay Peak is one of Vermont's best known winter ski resorts.  With the addition of the indoor water park, indoor ice arena, clubhouse and conference center the 4-season business plan, so much a part of Jay Peak's strategy for growth, has truly become a reality.  The Hotel Jay Complex was completed in its entirety in February 2012.

All Hotel Jay I-526's have been approved. The majority of the 829 submissions to Phase II have been approved thus far. No denials have taken place.

With the Hotel Jay so popular an additional phase called Penthouse Suites was introduced.  It created 55 additional suites atop the Hotel Jay and also created a mountain learning center for skiing, mountain biking and other four season recreation.  The Penthouse Project welcomed 65 investors.

All have been issued their I-526 approvals and the majority have received their I-829 approvals as well.  No denials have taken place.

This project is located along the Jay Peak Championship Golf Course.  100 suites and villas line the 1st, 2nd and 3rd fairways of the golf course.  The Jay Peak 18-hole course has been named by Golf Week Magazine as Vermont's best golf course.  Staying fairway side on this scenic course is a wonderful experience.  These 100 villas are also within a short walk to a ski lift serving all of Jay Peak 78 trails and glades.  In winter the Golf & Mountain Suites have extensive snowshoe and cross-country ski trails located right out the door of each villa.

Also part of the project is the creation of a mountain top restaurant serviced by Jay Peak's legendary 60-passenger Aerial Tramway, a wedding chapel to host the over 80 weddings a year being held at Jay Peak, and a full-service country store located at the base of Jay Peak's commercial core.

All have been issued their I-526 approvals and the majority have received their I-829 approvals as well. No denials have taken place.

The Lodge & Townhouses project commenced construction May 2012 and will provide 110 dwelling units between the Jay Peak Golf Course and the Village ski trail and lift system.  This central location offers easy access to all seasons of recreation.
In addition, a skier service and summer recreation facility has been constructed along with an entertainment amphitheater and parking.  All the above will add to the recreation mix of the resort to meet demand and interest.

All have been issued their I-526 approvals and the majority have received their I-829 approvals as well. No denials have taken place.

The cornerstone of the Stateside project is the new 84 unit hotel and base lodge that was completed in December 2013.  The hotel is accompanied by 84 slopeside villas that will be constructed in the spring and summer of 2015.  In addition to these accommodations a community Medical Center facility will also be located at the entrance of the resort to meet the healthcare needs of the guests, employees and residents of the local communities.

All Stateside investors have been issued their I-526 approvals. No denials have taken place.
