The last day of every ski & ride season is always bittersweet. Reminiscing of all the powder, laughter, and smile-filled days on the hill, while simultaneously getting ready for summer and what’s to come. Let’s face it, there’s a part of us already thinking about next season. Whether it’s daydreaming about new gear, new experiences, or even a new mountain to check out, the powder-junky in all of us is always at the ready. That being said, thanks for joining us for a great season here in Northern Vermont. This marks the 154th consecutive day of operations here at Jay Peak, and the 9th year in a row we’ve kept the lifts spinning into May. Mother Nature delivered this year too, in the form of 491” of natural snow. That’s over FORTY FEET of fluff, re-affirming our title as the resort with the most snow on the East Coast. And that’s not even counting the man-made courtesy of Snowmaking.  We hope you enjoy a fun-filled summer, and when it’s time to dust off the skis or Skol to Ullr, we’ll be right there with you.

TRAM  UPDATE: The upgrade project is underway and the Tram is scheduled to re-open this summer. Stay tuned for video updates of the $5 million project throughout the spring.

Lodging Options

At Jay Peak, nearly all of our lodging is ski in/ski out, located near (or in some cases practically on) our championship golf course, and within walking distance of the Pump House Indoor Waterpark and Ice Haus Indoor Arena.  Whether one of our full service Hotel suites, single family homes, full range of condominiums or townhouses, most of our lodging is within walking distance to a lift-and those few that are not, are located conveniently along our free Resort Shuttle Loop. You can get an idea of where all the lodging properties are located on THIS MAP.

And you can take a look at the resort footprint (Tramside, anyway) HERE.  This map will give you a good sense of what you'll find in the Hotel Jay and Tram Haus Lodge.

Hotel Jay & Conference Center

Choose from 176 options ranging from King Hotel Rooms, Studios and 1-3 Bedroom suites that include a kitchenette or kitchen. The Hotel Jay offers direct access to the new Pump House Indoor Waterpark, is just steps from the Tramside base lifts.

Golf & Mountain Cottages and Timberline Cottages

These new, multi-level cottages are down near our Championship Golf Course (some right along the course), just a short walk from the Tramside base lifts and across the access road from the Pump House Indoor Waterpark. 1- and 2- bedroom suites available.

Tram Haus Lodge

The Tram Haus Lodge offers a mix of studio, 1-, 2- and 3-bedroom suites all appointed with locally made fixtures, flat screen HD televisions, unlimited wifi, free guest lockers, and walking distance to our Tramside lifts.

The Timberline condos are among the newest, and most luxurious, on property. Suites range from 1- to 3-bedrooms in size and larger units include 2 levels.

Located mostly on the Queen's Highway trail, our deluxe Slopeside condominiums have 2-bedrooms and one full bathroom plus a full kitchen, living and dining areas, fireplace and small balcony.

The Trailside units are located on Tramside walking distance to all Tramside amenities including the Pump House Indoor Waterpark and Ice Haus arena. In the winter, the lifts are just a short ski away.
