Lift of the Day...The Bonaventure quad. Word has it that it's in the lee and the trails off of it are deep.

It started snowing yesterday around 11:00 AM and when it stopped early this morning, we had 6-9" on the ground. It's a bit of a scavenger hunt to find those inches around the base areas as we've been experiencing 35-50 mph winds, but the word from the folks who have ventured up top is that all of that snow (and more) can be found around and below the summits of the Jet and Bonaventure chairs. If you're headed up, dress for a chill. Temps are on either side of zero depending on where you're standing.

FOR THE WEEKEND...Sun and temps in the 30s. Looking to get away and join us? Click HERE for spring deals.

The Jet Triple and Bonaventure Quad opened at 9:00 AM. All lower-mountain lifts started spining at 8:30 AM. Last chair as always is at 4:00 PM.

Wedding Lift Tickets

My wife Amy and I were married 3 years ago this past August in our hometown of Newport, RI. We've spent lots of time at Jay Peak and had the idea of having Jay print a ton of old fashioned lift tickets for us to use as name cards for everyone;s seating assingment. They were in 3 shades of blue for chicken, steak, or seafood. Pretty clever, eh? Guess we should've included Poutine as an option, too.
