Snowy morning.

It started snowing again right around 5:00 AM this morning and we expect this latest squaw to stick around for a few hours. We've picked-up an inch so far and we'll keep you updated with snow totals.

We have picked up close to THREE FEET of new snow in the last week and the mountain's skiing and riding like mid-winter. If you haven't made the trip up yet, it's worth the drive. We'll be expanding our terrain offerings today to include beginner and novice trails with the opening of the Taxi quad and the Stateside moving carpet. With those lifts come trails for all ability levels.

The snow makers made their way up to Montrealer yesterday and plan to be there through Thursday. After they've buried that trail, their focus will turn to connecting Stateside and Tramside. Stay tuned later in the week for more info on that.

The Jet triple, Taxi quad and Stateside moving carpet are all scheduled to start moving at 9:00 AM this morning with last chair scheduled for 4:00 PM.

Looking to make some holiday turns? Ski and waterpark vacations start at just $225/night for a family of four. Details here.

Lift ticket and season pass info is available at both Stateside and Tramside Customer Service locations.

BirthdaySnow

Couldn't have asked for a better way to celebrate my birthday this year,  than a powdery day in the woods  and finishing off with a night at the waterpark. Now my 4th season riding at Jay Peak, I can honestly say that this was one of my best days on the slopes.
