First visit to the top!
Madison's first ride on the tram and visit to the top.
Today is much cooler than yesterday, and a bit on the cloudy side. Our current base temp is 57F with 61F as our forecasted high. Skies today should be cloudy with the sun making efforts to poke out here and there.
We plan to run the Jet Triple at 8:30 AM and Taxi Quad at 8:00 AM today to service the 11 or so trails we’ll have open this morning. Trails will likely be very spring-like and slushy; rivers were beginning to take back some real-estate yesterday, so keep an eye out.
This season’s final days are upon us; after 491” and countless powder cycles, we’ll be swapping out our ski boots for hikers once the last chair rounds the bull wheel on Monday evening. On Monday we will have made it 154 consecutive days of operation, and being May 1st, it will be 9 years in a row we have been able to ski and ride into May.
Looking at Monday, lift tickets will be just $5 and all proceeds will go to the Flake Foundation, whose funds go to supporting local causes and events. The Jet will spin at 9:00 AM and close for the winter at 4:00 PM.
End of season lift tickets are currently $35 for Juniors ages 6-18 and $49 for Adults ages 19+.
TRAM AND SPRING LIFT UPDATE: The Tram has closed for the winter season. The upgrade project is underway and the Tram is scheduled to re-open this summer. Stay tuned for video updates of the $5 million project throughout the spring.
