Partly Sunny.

Wow, just wow. If you’re a fair weather skier or rider, today is the day. Immense stashes of snow will be spotted throughout each open glade. On trails left ungroomed, soft and playful bumps are scattered everywhere; it’s a playground out there.

Tomorrow is sure to be a winning day as well. Although no new terrain was opened today, none was lost, and temps will be in our favor for the foreseeable future. Snowmaking continues to smother stateside base area, with proper temps, we will have beginner and learning terrain available in the coming days.

The Jet Triple began loading this morning at 8:30AM and will continue to spin until last chair tonight, which is scheduled for 4:00PM. Tomorrow the Jet Triple is scheduled to load first chair at 9:00AM with last chair at 4:00PM.

Lift tickets for adults (ages 19+) are $49 and $39 for juniors (ages 6-18), lift tickets can be purchased at both Stateside and Tramside Customer Service locations. For any late-comers, you can still purchase a Jay Peak Season Pass; click HERE to learn more.

My Past, Present and Future

There's not a memory from Jay that doesn't make me smile. From arriving at Hotel Jay late at night in a snow storm, being greeted by name by the staff who felt like family, the first time with my ski class in the glades that I hugged a pine tree, being asked to appear in a ski clothing photo shoot, taking a snowboard lesson with my dad after I BEGGED him, my first taste of Ben & Jerry's Phish food, helping my sister up the T-bar and watching her first ride up on her own, the first time I was allowed to drive up 242 after I got my license, my first adult beverage in the International Room for the visitor welcome party and above and beyond that, how much I learned and loved ski school. This is a photo of my last ski school report card from 1993, as well as part of my current business card...because of my experience of being Raised Jay, I have found my calling at a well-known resort in Colorado where I hope to give families the same amazing memories Jay gave my family.
