6-8” & still Snowing.

Our “good news stack” continues to pile up, literally. Since the beginning of today’s storm, we have seen 6-8” of new snow settle. Forecasters foresee more on the way; between tonight and tomorrow we have a chance to net much more.

Along with the always welcome natural snow, snowmaking efforts will resume tonight as temps continue to drop. Most of our snow guns have been focused on upper-mountain terrain, but as soon as lower elevation temps are where we need them, learning and beginner terrain will be hit hard with man-made snow.

Tomorrow (Saturday) begins seven-day operations. The Jet Triple is scheduled to spin both Saturday and Sunday starting at 8:30AM; we expect to have similar terrain to last weekend, the Jet and Haynes, meaning only advanced skiing/riding will be available.

Lift tickets for adults (ages 19+) are $49 and $39 for juniors (ages 6-18), and in case you need to purchase a lift ticket, you can do so at either Stateside or Tramside Customer Service. In case you need to pick-up your season pass, head on over to Tramside Customer Service today, or give them a ring at 802-988-2611; they’ll be open daily till 4:00 PM. For any late-comers, you can still purchase a Jay Peak Season Pass; click HERE to learn more.

Are you Jay Peak Season Pass holder? Great, we’re throwing you a party on Saturday, December 10th. Click HERE to learn more

Labor Day view from the pump house

We very rarely get up on the mountain in the off-season, but we hiked the Long Trail to the peak on Labor Day. Got a great view looking down pump house shutes at all the new development.
