Partly sunny.

So after 155 days of getting hammered with the most snow of anywhere in the United States south of Alaska, we are closing the books on the 2014-15 winter season. The lifts are done spinning for winter operations.

This past weekend was sunny and everything you could have wanted in a spring weekend of skiing and riding: 34 trails, 5 lifts, and plenty of goggle tans. With 80-degree temperatures predicted for most of this week and showers forecasted for Friday through Sunday, we’re turning the focus to summer as the remaining snow turns to mush.

Our award winning golf course is opening on May 15th for its 10th season. Early riser special. $59 with cart before 9AM. Late day twilight special. $45 with cart after 2:00 pm. More Info.

2015/2016 Season Passes are now on sale. Click HERE to check out our Pass options; purchase by May 11th and save some coin.

In case you're driving up here for the first time and plan on using a GPS, be sure to read this.

From total first-timers to seasoned vets, Jay Peak’s Ski & Ride School will help you have the best days on snow. Jay is known for its phenomenal terrain; beautiful open glades, world-class tight trees and chutes all blanketed in more snow than anywhere else on the East. But it doesn’t stop there. Our specialized beginner areas, freestyle terrain parks, cruising blue runs, steep trails and glade system with beginner tree runs are sure to keep you busy. The Ski & Ride School is here to help you experience Jay Peak’s landscape to the fullest potential. For more information on our individual programs, please see our links below or in the navigation bar.

OUR TERRAIN-BASED LEARNING TECHNIQUE

Our Terrain-Based Learning approach is a cutting edge teaching system. We sculpt the learning terrain with mini half-pipes, rollers and banks to create an intuitive learning environment that guides skiers and snowboarders through turns and into stops. This terrain is geared towards removing the fear and allowing the participant to focus on staying relaxed; having fun while quickly progressing. Even our Freestyle Terrain Parks are built in such a way to encourage progression and use for the entire family.

THE NEW MOUNTAIN KIDS ADVENTURE CENTER

This new center is home base for Jay Peak’s littlest skiers and riders. The facilities houses our Jay Explorers program, indoor learning area as well as a childcare center. The Progression Terrain behind the new Mountain Kids Adventure Center features our Playtime with Toy Story Riglet Park – developed by Burton and Snow Park Technologies (SPT) in conjunction with Disney and the only of it’s kind in the East.

PLAYTIME AT THE BURTON TOY STORY RIGLET PARK

The Riglet Park is an interactive space for snowboards between the ages of 3 and 5 years old designed to allow kids to play and have fun while learning to enjoy snowboarding. With giant wooden Toy Story characters and sculpted snow features, the park couples learning and entertainment to make for a great time. To learn more about our Riglet Park, please click here.
