Weather Report

Current Weather

Mostly sunny
Sunday February 14th, 2016 | Updated 10:52 am

Sunny, yet frigid.

Both the Tramside and Stateside moving carpets are running. The Taxi Quad, The Metro Quad and Village Double are also spinning. More information will be available as weather develops throughout the day.

A brisk day to say the least, -16F to start the day; temps won’t be climbing just yet, -20F will be the day’s low around 12PM. If that isn’t a problem, we have lot's of new snow and 36 trails and glades to ski or ride on. Over the past 7 days 20” fell on the mountain, we saw some strong winds over the last week as well, however, that wind has been helpful in redistributing the snow into the woods. Come up for a great day of skiing and riding in Northern Vermont.

We advise you to bring extra layers today. Temps will be negative for the entirety of the day and wind chill will be a big factor as well. Any and all extra layers you could need will be available at Provisions or either Stateside or Tramside retail locations, hand warmers are available in these locations as well.

**Trail and lift status may change today due to weather, we will know more as soon as Patrol and Lift Maintenance are finished assessing.**

Lift tickets for adults (19+) are $79 and kids 6-18 are $62. Tickets can be purchased at both Stateside and Tramside Customer Service Locations.

**Jackie Greene plays the Foeger Ballroom on February 20th. Get the details here.**

Kids Programs (Ages 3-12)

Jay Peak loves kids and kids love Jay Peak. Our kids programs are specifically designed for 3-12 year old skiers and snowboarders at every ability or interest level. With new progression terrain on Stateside and the Mountain Kids Adventure Center (which houses our program) - we're covered both indoors and outdoors.

AGES 3-5 | Kinders & Riglets
Lessons for ages 3-5 are smaller groups broken up by ability level. These lessons feature an hour spent inside on our indoor equipment, including a carpeted ski/ride ramp and the remainder of the time is spent outdoors on our sculpted learning terrain. *Children enrolled must be completely bathroom independent and able to communicate their needs.*

AGES 6-12 | Jay Explorers
Kids ages 6-12 experience a variety of terrain choices; from our brand new sculpted learning terrain to our world class tree skiing and riding. Groups are split up on snow based on ability level.

All lessons include time for snacks/warm up breaks when necessary and lunch is included in the Full Day program.

Let us help you figure out your child's ability level at Jay Peak with our What To Expect Guide.
