Mostly sunny & soft.

*** All 9 lifts spinning***

Sunny skies dominate the landscape this morning, as we gear up for sunny day on the hill. Temps are currently hovering around 31F at the base, but forecasted to hit 40F by lunch time. Soft turns as we work on our goggle tans; what’s not to like?

We’re planning to see all 9 lifts spin today, servicing all 78 trails & glades. The one trail currently marked closed is Green Beret, likely due to the headwall being a little firm this morning. We’ll let it sunbake for a little while longer before dropping the rope. And to that point, any ungroomed natural snow trails will likely be a little firm this morning, so enjoy that second cup of coffee and hit those trails in the afternoon.

First chair for Lower Mountain lifts is planned for 8:30 AM with Upper Mountain lifts scheduled to follow at 9:00 AM; last chair for all lifts is at 4:00 PM.

Looking forward, snow (yes, snow) is forecasted to hit us starting tomorrow night into the weekend. How much you ask? Well, our weather guy is calling for upwards of half a foot on the ground by Saturday morning. The snow this late in the game is usually pretty wet & heavy, which is just the snow we want to see this time of year; it helps fill-in all the nooks & crannies to ensure late season skiing & riding.

Even our building materials were Raised Jay.

There's no two ways about it: The Tram Haus Lodge is all Jay. From the locally crafted materials to the feeling you get when you walk through the porte cochere, there's no other way to describe it. It's been designed to be part of the mountain, but also created so the mountain is a part of it. Expertly built with a dedicated team of Vermont craftsmen, the Tram Haus Lodge uses recycled and re-imagined parts and pieces from the mountain and neighboring towns to pay tribute to our illustrious history and heritage. Comfortable, welcoming and, dare we say cozy, our 57-suite hotel offers state-of-the-art facilities, ski-in, ski-out accommodations and an array of services designed entirely around two things: skiers and riders.

Feel free to explore the premises; you’ll find:

  • Alice’s Table Restaurant
  • Aroma Coffee Shop
  • Taiga Spa
  • Tower Bar
