Jay Peak requires a 50% deposit of the total value of the reservation to guarantee the reservation.
A credit card is required at check in for all reservations for a $50/day incidental authorization. It is recommended that Credit Cards (NOT debit cards) are used for these authorizations. Authorizations will be released within 48 hours of departure. (If debit cards are used, we can not guarantee a timely release of the authorization as this is controlled by the issuing bank.)
RESORT SERVICE FEE
A resort service fee of $25 per room, per day will be applied to your total balance upon check out.
This resort fee will not be reflected in your package total, but will accrue during your stay and will be billable upon your departure.
DEPOSITS AND PAYMENTS FOR CANADIANS
All credit card transactions are charged in US funds so when your 50% deposit is taken on your CDN credit card, it will be automatically converted from US to CDN at whatever rate your credit card company is using. To make sure you get an at par rate (when applicable, i.e. the 50% balance due at check in), you must pay in Canadian Cash, Certified Check or Money Order. **Adjustments on exchange will not be made if proper form of payment is not given or if you pay with a credit card.
SPRING & FALL CANCELLATIONS
For reservations staying 03/26/17 - 12/14/2017 or 03/25/18 - 12/13/18
Advanced deposits are non-refundable if you cancel your booking within 14 days of arrival. Changing or shortening a stay within 14 days of your scheduled arrival day will result in penalty charges of 50% of the night changed or dropped. Cancellations more than fourteen days prior to arrival will be refunded less a $25 processing fee.
For reservations staying 12/15/17 - 03/24/18 or 12/14/18 - 03/23/19
Cancellations more than 30 days prior to arrival will be refunded less a $25 processing fee. Cancellations, changes or shortening a stay between 14 to 30 days prior to arrival will result in penalty charges of 25% of the reservation value or days dropped. Changing or shortening a stay within 14 days of your scheduled arrival day will result in penalty charges of 50% of the reservation value or days dropped. Advanced deposits are non-refundable if you cancel your booking within 14 days of arrival.
CHECK-IN AND CHECK-OUT DETAILS
Hotel check-in is after 4pm. Check-in for Cottages, Condos and Townhouses is after 5pm. Check-out time for all resort guests is 11am. The primary guest must be at least 18 years of age to check into any accommodations at Jay Peak Resort.
Resort accommodations have been designed with the environment in mind. Additionally, we strive to reduce our water and electricity consumption, offering standard housekeeping service as follows:
- Hotel Jay – Cleaned daily.
- Tram Haus Lodge – Cleaned daily.
- Stateside Hotel – Cleaned every 2nd day.
- Cottages, Condominiums, and Townhouses – Cleaned every 7 days.
If you should need supplies replenished outside of regularly scheduled housekeeping service days, please call the Hotel Front Desk and we’ll be happy to deliver (please note, additional cleaning service requests will incur additional fees).
Smoking is not permitted in any properties managed by Jay Peak Resort. Violations will be subject to penalties of a minimum of $300.
Pets are not permitted in any properties managed by Jay Peak Resort. Violations will be subject to fines of $100/day and a $250 deep clean fee at check out or eviction.
