A 50% deposit of the total value of your reservation will be charged at the time of booking. All reservations at Jay Peak Resort require a valid Credit Card upon check-in for a $50 per day incidentals authorization. Authorizations will be released within 48 hours of departure. We recommend using a Credit Card, not a Debit Card. If a Debit Card is used, we cannot guarantee a timely release of the authorization as this is controlled by the issuing bank.
A nightly resort service fee ($27+tx before November 19, 2023, and $28+tax after November 19, 2023) will be applied to your total balance upon check out.
All credit card transactions are charged in US funds so when your 50% deposit is taken on your CDN credit card, it will be automatically converted from US to CDN at whatever rate your credit card company is using. The remaining 50% balance can be paid at par, on check-in by certified check, money order, or travelers checks. Cash and personal checks are not accepted. All Credit Cards are processed in US funds; there will be no exchange rate adjustments if paying by credit card.
For Winter Retail Reservations
For retail reservations staying between November 20th and April 30th each year.
Get a full refund if you cancel more than 30 days prior to your scheduled arrival. There is a $50 fee for cancellations or changes 14 to 30 days prior to arrival. Changing or shortening a stay within 14 days of your scheduled arrival will forfeit your 50% deposit or the value of days dropped.
For Spring/Summer/Fall Retail Reservations
For retail reservations staying between May 1st and November 19th each year.
Cancellations more than 72hrs prior to arrival will be fully refundable. When cancelling or shortening a stay within 72hrs prior to arrival, the deposit or value of cancelled days is forfeited.
Relocation Vacations (Monthly & Seasonal Reservations)
Full payment for the first month will be taken at the time of booking. If your visit is longer than one month, subsequent payments will be taken at the beginning of each month. Once the rental period for your planned vacation begins, there will be no refunds. Cancellations will only allowed if the State imposes travel or operating restrictions and then refunds will be pro-rated.
Non-Refundable Reservations
We will occasionally offer targeted non-refundable lodging packages for which either the 50% deposit or full cost of your vacation is non refundable for either cancellations or date changes. Please refer to your booking confirmation email for more details.

Smoking is not permitted in any properties managed by Jay Peak Resort. Violations will be subject to penalties of a minimum of $300.
Lodging Guests: Pets are not permitted in any properties managed by Jay Peak Resort. Violations will be subject to fines of $100/day and a $250 deep clean fee at check out or eviction.

Under the ADA, a service animal is defined as a dog that has been individually trained to do work or perform tasks for an individual with a disability. Generally, service animals can only be dogs (or, under very rare circumstances, miniature horses). Service Animals shall be under the control of their handlers at all times. Unless the handler is unable to do so, or the use of such device interferes with the safe, effective function of the animal’s duties, Service Animals shall be on harness, leash, bridle or other type of tether at all times, in public areas. Where this is not possible due to one of the aforementioned conditions the Service Animal shall be under the handler’s control through other means (e.g. voice commands, hand signals).
Any disabled guest who is assisted by a Service Animal shall have access to all public areas of the resort. In the interests of safety, Service Animals shall not be permitted on ski lifts, as there is no means to evacuate them safely should the lift stop. The resort may, at its discretion, offer alternative transportation should it be absolutely required. Resort personnel may ask for the removal of a Service Animal from public areas if the handler is unable to maintain control of the animal, if the animal’s behavior is deemed dangerous, or if the animal is not properly housebroken. Reasonable effort will be taken by the resort to facilitate the disabled guest’s participation in resort activities, in the instance a Service Animal is removed for cause.
A guest with a disability who uses a Service Animal shall be provided the same opportunity to reserve any available room at the hotel as other guests without disabilities. Hotel guests are not allowed to leave their service animals in their hotel room when they leave the hotel. The dog must be under the handler’s control at all times.

No alcoholic beverages can be brought into any licensed area at the resort, including all restaurants and their patios, cafeterias, the Pump House Indoor Waterpark, the Ice Haus Arena, Jay Peak Championship Golf Course, The Clubhouse, Wedding Tent, and Stateside Amphitheater, etc. Excessive consumption of alcohol is cause for removal from the premises without a refund.
Out of safety concerns for guests, employees, and resort property, as well as concerns for individual privacy, Jay Peak Inc. prohibits the operation or use of unmanned aerial systems, or drones, by the general public – including recreational users and hobbyists – without the prior written authorization from Jay Peak Inc. This prohibition includes drones used for filming or videotaping, as well as any drone use by media or journalists operating above or within Jay Peak Resort’s boundaries. This prohibition on drone operations or use extends to any drones launched or operated from Jay Peak Inc. property, as well as drones launched from private property outside of the Resort boundaries. Any authorized operation of aerial drones may be governed by Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) rules and regulations, local law enforcement, and/or U.S. Forest Service rules, as well as those policies separately established by Jay Peak Inc., which may include certification, training, insurance coverage, indemnification requirements, and waivers or releases of liability. Any violation of this policy may involve suspension of your skiing or snowboarding privileges, or the revocation of your season pass, as well as confiscation of any drone equipment, and may subject violators to any damages, including, but not limited to, damages for violations of privacy and/or physical or personal injuries or property damage, as well as regulatory fines and legal fees.
Public use of snowmobiles is prohibited on Jay Peak Resort property and ski trails at all times. Any violations of these rules may result in the suspension of lift privileges or prosecution for a criminal offense.
Sledding or tobogganing can be a fun winter pastime, but this activity is not appropriate on our ski slopes and trails as they aren’t designed for this activity. Sledding on ski slopes and trails can be hazardous due to:
Sledding on the trails or within the Jay Peak Resort property, including but not limited to Racoon Run and Grammy Jay, is not permitted by homeowners or guests. This also includes walkways, driveways, roads, and any snow-covered area. This applies to any type of device that can be used for sledding including, but not limited to, sleds, toboggans, tubes or saucers, and other devices such as shovels, pads, or trays.
Due to the hazards and risks noted above, Jay Peak Resort wants to reinforce the message of No Sledding on Ski Slopes. Any violations of these rules may result in suspension of lift privileges or prosecution for a criminal offense.

Jay Peak accepts Canadian cash at par, with valid proof of current Canadian residency on the admission products listed below. On property guests charging back to their room will be charged in US funds on their credit card. While you can purchase the following admission products at par, on-site, several do have limited capacity and we encourage you to reserve in advance to guarantee access.
Change for at par products will be issued in Canadian funds.
