Current Weather

Partly sunny
Wednesday February 22nd, 2017 | Updated 7:51 am
41°F5°C

Sun by afternoon.

The day starts out cloudy, but then the sun is scheduled to emerge this afternoon. Temps will climb into the 40s, but don't start thinking spring thoughts just yet. We've received 101" of snow in February alone and winter will return this weekend.

You'll be able to sink an edge into the groomers this morning. The glades may have firmed up overnight from cold temps, but should soften later today under the afternoon sun.

All 78 trails and nine lifts will be open with the upper-mountain lifts scheduled to spin at 8:30 AM and the lower-mountain chairs at 8:00 AM. Last chair for all lifts is at 4:00 PM.

***THINKING OF COMING TO THE PUMP HOUSE OVER THE HOLIDAY?*** Please note that the safest way to guarantee admission to the Pump House (other than through a lodging package) is to purchase your tickets in advance online. There is a good chance over the coming holiday weeks that day tickets will sell out early.

Tickets & Passes

Jay Peak uses RFID cards for lift tickets and season passes.  Your RFID card includes a radio chip that will be read by an electronic reader as you approach any of our base area lifts.

Some things to remember:

  • Please don’t punch a hole in your pass.  You *will* break the chip inside.
  • Carry your RFID card in a side pocket, separately from your cell phone and other electronic devices.
  • Carry only one RFID pass with you. Other Jay Peak passes and enhanced driver's licenses will interfere.
