Mostly sunny

After a well needed product testing session on The Jet, we were quite impressed by the conditions despite the freeze thaw freeze cycle we’ve been in. This morning Mother Nature dropped about an inch of snow on the mountain, before clearing out for a sunny afternoon.

Our Snowmaking Team is back at it, currently making snow on the Haynes and Mont L’Entrepide. The plan is to bury those trails by Tuesday, then come Wednesday, move to lower mountain terrain off of the Taxi Quad & Stateside Moving Carpet, in effort to bring more trails online for next weekend.

Tonight, our ace grooming staff will lay down some fresh cords on The Jet, in preparation for first chair tomorrow. Speaking of tomorrow, temps look to be slightly warmer than today; mid to high 30s with mostly sunny skies. First chair on The Jet Triple tomorrow is scheduled for 8:30AM. Last chair, as always, is at 4:00PM.

Beginners, read this; only expert terrain will be available for skiing & riding this weekend. After last chair Sunday, Snowmaking will hit The Haynes, then relocate to lower mountain terrain. The goal come midweek will be to hammer trails serviced off of the Taxi Quad and Stateside Moving Carpet, in effort to open beginner terrain for the following weekend.

Opening weekend lift tickets will be available for purchase at both Stateside & Tramside Customer Service; $49 for Adults (19+) and $39 for Juniors (6-18).

A Moment With Sile & Our New Website

By Andrew, on Thu, Aug 02, 2012

By now we know that you know we know our old website fell short on many levels. Flash is a fun tool that is still widely used online today, but it didn't properly suit our needs and your demands. On Tuesday, July 31, our new site launched and we couldn't be happier with the result. Rebuilt from the ground up, the new is written in html5, and it's new layout is much more user friendly . We could go on about all the cool new features and improvements, but it's more fun to see it for yourself.

If you want the fast track to learning about our new site, we recommend you watch this sassy tutorial from our beloved receptionist Sile (the firey lady who answers all of your phone calls).
