Weather by Tim Kelley
Not just yet, we call your 80 degree weather Mother Nature, and raise you another weekend of great spring snow skiing.
A heat breaking FroPa (Frontal Passage), with Friday thunderstorm downpours moves out leaving a fine weekend of cooler nights and seasonable highs. Gusty wind and heavy-ish fair weather clouds ease out Saturday. We actually have seasonable highs near 60F. Saturday night is cold enough for a few minutes of firm skiing first thing Sunday. Clouds increase with a spring shower Sunday afternoon.
Next week is cooler than this week. There is still enough cold air in Canada to tease us with a few flakes and additional skiing next weekend.
Though this was no winter of 1969, one of our goals from November, 380 inches of seasonal snow, with the best spring conditions in recent memory, leaves most of us with big smiles and good memories of winter 2017/18.
Nothing makes me happier than delivering good news.
That was the case most of this winter.
Maybe one more update next Thursday.. or We'll "See you at the shore."
