The last day of every ski & ride season is always bittersweet. Reminiscing of all the powder, laughter, and smile-filled days on the hill, while simultaneously getting ready for summer and what’s to come. Let’s face it, there’s a part of us already thinking about next season. Whether it’s daydreaming about new gear, new experiences, or even a new mountain to check out, the powder-junky in all of us is always at the ready. Click HERE to read more on the changing with our seasons.

That being said, thanks for joining us for a great season here in Northern Vermont. This marks the 154th consecutive day of operations here at Jay Peak, and the 9th year in a row we’ve kept the lifts spinning into May. Mother Nature delivered this year too, in the form of 491” of natural snow. That’s over FORTY FEET of fluff, re-affirming our title as the resort with the most snow on the East Coast. And that’s not even counting the man-made courtesy of Snowmaking.  We hope you enjoy a fun-filled summer, and when it’s time to dust off the skis or Skol to Ullr, we’ll be right there with you.

TRAM  UPDATE: The upgrade project is underway and the Tram is scheduled to re-open this summer. Stay tuned for video updates of the $5 million project throughout the spring.

Valhalla Executive Boardroom & Penthouse Patio

THE VALHALLA EXECUTIVE BOARDROOM
One of our most distinctive spaces, the Valhalla Executive Boardroom is located on the penthouse level of Hotel Jay. With floor-to-ceiling windows guests are enveloped by the long views north into neighboring Canada. Valhalla is the quintessential meeting location as it offers decorative furnishings and a conference table that can be broken down and removed from the space, allowing other functions and events to take place in this room. Like the rest of the Hotel Jay Conference Center, The Valhalla includes state-of-the-art audio visual equipment.

THE PENTHOUSE PATIO
The Penthouse rooftop patio, which can accommodate 50 persons, overlooks the mountain and aerial Tram. It is new, unique and the perfect setting for a “WOW” factor event. It is exclusivity at its finest.

Foundry & The Family Room

THE FAMILY ROOM
We've replicated the old Hotel Jay Family Room where you can stretch your legs on soft seating, watch some TV, enjoy family activities and board games, or just relax and review the day.

THE FOUNDRY & PATIO
Casual, elegant or somewhere in between Jay Peak has a vast repertoire of dining options. Our newest addition is The Foundry, where classic American styled food and drink are convenient and tasty. Every restaurant offers guests spectacular views of the mountains or valley, or maybe both. With eight dining outlets on the resort campus it is easy to accommodate a group looking to dine as one or smaller more intimate groups looking to feast alone. These spaces are also wonderful for hosting a luncheon, meeting, cocktail reception, or event. The room itself includes a brushed steel bar that defines the front of the house and offers front-row views of our gas-fried, ceramic tile open oven. The Foundry also offers al fresco dining in late spring, summer and fall and offers broad views of both the mountain and our valleys. Inside, floor-to-ceiling windows allow you to keep an eye on skiers and riders making their way down the mountain, snowstorms headed in or sunsets dropping behind our nearly 4,000’ peak

THE TRAMSIDE BASE LODGE

Austria Haus dates back to the beginning of Jay Peak where dark woods and white stucco adorn the walls and cathedral ceilings. It is the hub of Jay Peak, where the International Room, Tram Cafeteria, and Tram Deck reside. Providing ample space for large gatherings, meeting, or events, the Austria Haus offers both seasonal and year round event space.

There’s no two ways about it: The Tram Haus Lodge is all Jay. It’s been designed to be part of the mountain, but also created so the mountain is a part of it. Expertly built with a dedicated team of Vermont craftsmen, the Tram Haus Lodge uses recycled and re-imagined parts and pieces from the mountain and neighboring towns to pay tribute. The 57-suite hotel is home to Alice’s Table, Tower Bar, and a large terrace area which, between these three spaces, cover off on meetings, groups, events and weddings small and large, indoor and outdoor. Taiga Spa and Aroma Coffee Shop are also located on the main floor with the bar and restaurant.

THE INTERNATIONAL ROOM
The heritage of Jay Peak comes to life in the International Room. With dark wooden beams against a white Austrian finish and arched architectural flares noted throughout the space, the room evokes that of an international feel. Longer than it is wide, this space can comfortably hold 200 persons for any number of set-up styles. It is easily accessible to restaurants, shops, and lodging accommodations.

  • With its own event kitchen and stationary bar, guests never have to travel far

TRAM BASE LODGE & DECK
The Tram Base Lodge is hub where, come winter, thousands of skiers and riders congregate. During shoulder seasons, the area is easily transformed into meeting and conference space using varying set ups and configurations. Perfect for small meetings, pre-reception wedding cocktail hours and break out space, The Tram Base Lodge is fully licensed for beer, wine and spirits and can accommodate up to 200 people. Adjacent to the Lodge is the Tram Base Patio with sweeping views of the mountain and easy access to the 60-passenger Jay Peak Aerial Tram, the Patio can be used for break out space or is the perfect spot for coffee breaks, cocktail hours or any part of the conference that requires big views.

ALICE'S TABLE
Named after Alice Lewis (one of Jay Peak’s first employees), and located in the Tram Haus Lodge. With sweeping views of Jay Peak’s summit and the West Bowl, Alice’s offers locally-sourced cuisine featuring steaks from the Vermont Highland Cattle Company to trout from Vermont waters. The room can be configured to fit any occasion; you just have to give us ample time as we handle the tables with care—each one is made from reclaimed wood from local barns and bridges throughout the Northeast Kingdom.

  • A contemporary space with natural earth tones
  • Repurposed barn and bridge wood create elegant yet rustic dining tables
  • Floor to ceiling windows capture the majesty and season of the outdoors

TOWER BAR
Located in the Tram Haus Lodge, is the heartbeat of après ski revelry at Jay Peak Resort. With a wall of ten-foot windows, the slopeside pub affords diners spectacular views of Jay Peak’s ski trails and the West Bowl. It also offers visitors a glimpse into the resort’s past. Various seating areas, side bars and tables were constructed from old lift towers and sheave taken wheels from a chair lift that once stood on the site of the Tram Haus Lodge.

Metro meets woodsy – the combination of style and finishing’s creates a unique environment
A stone hearth fire place and multiple flat screen TV’s decorate the hearts and minds of sport fans

THE TERRACE
Right outside of both Alice’s Table and Tower Bar. Outfitted with fire pits and Adirondack chairs the terrace creates an environment which encourages a community feel. Fantastic space for a cocktail hour, wedding ceremony, or a number of other outdoor events, the terrace is a truly authentic outdoor option at Jay Peak.

  • Hand laid stone bricks create a custom design terrace
  • Fire pits bring warmth and a sense of community to a chilly mountain day
  • Vibrant flora and new leaf maple trees adorn the terrace creating lush botanical gardens
