It's been warm lower on the hill today (around 38F) and conditions are certainly reflective of that. Up top, however, we have remained below the freezing point and trails that were groomed overnight are beginning to firm up a bit. Be cautious launching into the woods, the deeper stuff in there is particularly grabby today.

Although warm, forecasts have some snow potentially landing on the mountain later on. It's not certain how much we'll get, but we may wake up to 1-3" of fresh snow tomorrow.

Speaking of trails, we have 77 open for skiing and riding today, serviced by all 9 of our lifts. Upper mountain lifts, excluding the Jet triple which was slightly delayed for grooming, started up at 8:30 AM. Lower mountain lifts started up at their scheduled time of 8:00 AM. As always, last chair for all lifts is at 4:00 PM.

The 1 trail we have closed is Lower Can-Am for our USASA skier/boarder cross event, which wraps up this afternoon. Head on up the Bonaventure Quad to get over there and watch the races.

If you hadn’t already heard, Jay Peak has the most natural snowfall in New England. At 351”, we are already looking towards one of the best winters ever. In the past 7-days, 47” of new snow dropped, further ensuring an incredible spring to follow.

***THINKING OF COMING TO THE PUMP HOUSE OVER THE HOLIDAY?*** Please note that the safest way to guarantee admission to the Pump House (other than through a lodging package) is to purchase your tickets in advance online. EARN THOSE TURNS

I hiked up to the tram chutes on the Sunday after that big dumping weekend. It was bluebird, soft, and heavenly.
