24+25 Day For The Devoted

Jay Peak Resort Announces 4th Annual Day for the Devoted, Set for Friday, Nov. 29
JAY PEAK, Vt. – [Nov. 25, 2024] – As part of its kick-off to the 2024-2025 winter season, 750 lucky skiers and riders have already secured their free lift ticket for the 4th Annual Day for the Devoted, Friday, Nov. 29. The event is held every year in appreciation for the dedication and support of Jay Peak’s guests, season passholders and staff members who together conspire to create one of the most unique experiences in the industry.
Each season, the Resort acknowledges its season passholders, community members, and staff for their collective contribution to the Jay Peak experience, by passing along free access to the mountain on Nov. 29 for 750 guests. Within an hour on Nov. 12, all tickets had been claimed. In addition, all 2024-25 Jay Peak Season Passholders can head straight to the lifts; no reservation required. Lift tickets will not be sold online or at the ticket window for Nov. 29. On Sunday, Nov. 30, Jay Peak will open to the general public.
What to Expect on the Day for the Devoted
For decades, Jay Peak has opened for the winter season the day after Thanksgiving (and remained open into early May). This season, terrain for advanced skiers and riders will open off of the Jet Triple Chair to start and operations will stay focused at the Stateside area of the resort. Weather and conditions permitting, officials will open additional intermediate and beginner options. The Stateside Cafeteria, Retail Shop and Ski & Ride School will be open as well. Free Mini Clinics with Jay Peak’s instructor team will be available all day at each operating lift. The party continues after the lifts close for the day with live music in the Bullwheel bar, complimentary pizza, and free demos from Never Summer Snowboards For specifics, including operating schedules and trail counts, visit jaypeakresort.com/SnowReport or download the Jay Peak App for ongoing updates.
Give Back Friday
The Resort also extends its appreciation to those Jay Peak fans unable to visit, through its decade-long Give Back Friday program. For what has become known as a means of turning its nose at the commercialism of Black Friday in the retail industry, the Resort selects 300 lucky guests from its email database to receive fully transferable lift tickets and waterpark passes. Guests who want to be considered for Give Back Friday gifts should sign up for Jay Peak’s email newsletter (unless already subscribed) at jaypeakresort.com/connect.
Pass The Jay
Give Back Friday is another example of the Resort passing along gratitude, appreciation and acknowledgment for its guests and staff. This theme and attitude is also at the heart of this year’s brand campaign, Pass the Jay. The Resort will embark on year two of a program designed and focused on both acknowledging guests and staff but also giving everyone opportunities to extend those good wishes and acknowledgments out into the communities that surround the resort, both near and far.
Mission Affordability - Price Freezes and Reductions
Officials at Jay Peak are freezing and reducing prices for a number of offerings at the resort through its new Mission Affordability Program, a list of benefits which will continue to grow throughout the 2024-2025 season.
“Collectively, we hope the final list of price freezes and reductions combined with new programs and deals will give folks the opportunity to save a bit more at the end of their vacation or day trip,” said General Manager Steve Wright. “We hope this, along with other programs we’ll roll out during the season, support both our employees and guests alike.”
