Camp Jay: Elevated Summer, No Counselors Required

JAY PEAK, Vt. (June 24, 2025) —  With Solstice Sessions—Jay Peak’s early-summer music and snow mashup event—officially in the rearview, and lupine, sunshine, and humidity all firing at once, Jay Peak Resort enters its most varied season. From tram rides and heated pool access to disc golf, turf sports, and indoor activities, the resort continues to offer a broad range of recreation options for guests visiting for the day or for longer stays. Core facilities like the Pump House Indoor Waterpark—featuring a retractable roof—and the 18-hole championship golf course anchor the summer lineup, joined by rotating outdoor programming and indoor alternatives.

Located in Northern Vermont, Jay Peak remains a day-trip option for much of the state as well as southern Quebec, and offers a full mix of seasonal amenities suitable for families, individuals, and organized groups.

Aerial Tram Rides
Jay Peak’s Aerial Tram, the only one of its kind in Vermont, will be operating daily starting July 4, weather permitting, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tickets are available at Provisions General Store on Tramside. The tram provides round-trip service to the 4,000-foot summit, with visibility extending across the Northern Green Mountains and into southern Quebec on clear days.

Pump House Indoor Waterpark
The indoor waterpark remains one of the resort’s most visited summer attractions. The 60,000-square-foot facility includes waterslides, a lazy river, and the FlowRider surf simulator. The waterpark's retractable roof allows for weather-independent access, making it a reliable, non-weather related activity option for day guests and overnight visitors alike. Season Passes are available starting at $121, with a limited number of blackout dates during the winter.

Outdoor Pool
The heated outdoor pool is open daily from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., weather permitting. Pool access is included with overnight stays at Hotel Jay, Tram Haus Lodge, and Stateside Hotel & Baselodge. Day-use access is available when the Pump House is closed, with tickets sold at the Hotel Jay front desk.

Golf Course
Jay Peak’s 18-hole championship course is open for the season, with tee times, cart rentals, and Stay & Play packages available through the resort’s lodging office. The course features mountain elevation, variable terrain, and full-service support facilities.

Athletic Fields
Two regulation turf fields are available for sport-specific programming including soccer, rugby, and lacrosse. Fields are available for day rental or multi-day team bookings. Seating and a nearby snack bar support use during games or tournaments.

Disc Golf and Indoor Recreation
The 18-hole disc golf course offers a mix of open and wooded holes across the mountain’s base terrain. Maps, rentals and scorecards are available at the Mountain Shop on Tramside. Clips & Reels, the resort’s indoor recreation center, includes an arcade, climbing walls, blacklight mini golf, and a movie theater.
