Lucky 13: Jay Peak Wins Another NSAA Marketing Award for Pass The Jay Campaign

JAY PEAK, Vt. (May 14, 2025) — The National Ski Areas Association (NSAA) has awarded Jay Peak Resort the honor of Best Overall Marketing Campaign (Under 500,000 Visits) at its Annual Awards Ceremony, held Tuesday, May 13 during the organization’s National Convention and Tradeshow in Marco Island, Florida.

This year’s award recognized Jay Peak’s Pass the Jay campaign, a season-long initiative built around the idea that everyone—employees, guests, locals—shares in passing along the best parts of Jay Peak and its community. From stories and traditions to powder stashes and post-ski rituals, the campaign highlighted the uniquely communal experience of Jay Peak.

The campaign was selected from a broad field of applicants, with Bogus Basin, ID and Taos Ski Valley, NM joining Jay Peak as finalists in the under-500K visitation category. This marks Jay Peak’s 13th NSAA marketing award overall, with the earliest dating back to 2009.

“This recognition reflects the work of a small but capable team that continues to prioritize clarity, authenticity, and consistency in how we communicate,” said Steve Wright, Jay Peak’s general manager. “We’re especially proud to be recognized for a campaign that puts the Jay Peak community at its core, and we’re looking forward to expanding on the work originally conceived by Origin, a Montreal-based agency, with the help of Buttery Agency, a Vermont-based design firm.”

The NSAA Marketing Awards aim to raise the overall standard of marketing within the ski industry, with the Best Overall Campaign award recognizing programs that are not only well executed but that reflect a strong alignment with brand identity and audience engagement.
