Ski, Celebrate, Support: Jay Peak Resort Hosts March Fundraisers for Cancer Research and Youth Adventures

JAY PEAK, Vt. (February 2025) – Jay Peak Resort is bringing the community together for a weekend of giving, music and outdoor adventure with two special fundraising events this March. The 15th annual Hope On The Slopes returns on Sunday, March 2, to support the American Cancer Society, while A Night For Nick on Saturday, March 1, will raise funds for The Reeno Foundation with a night of live music. From ski runs and auctions to soulful '70s tunes, both events offer a chance to support meaningful causes while embracing the spirit of Jay Peak.

Hope On The Slopes returns to Jay Peak for the 15th year, bringing together participants and volunteers who will honor cancer survivors, promote awareness, and raise vital funds for the American Cancer Society. All proceeds directly support cancer research, patient services and prevention programs.

The event is Sunday, March 2, from 7:30 a.m. - 6 p.m. Registration begins at 7:30 a.m. The day includes a bake sale in the Tramside Cafeteria, Rubber Duck sales at the Pump House Water Park for the 10th Annual Duck Race at 3 p.m., a benefit auction, The Intention Run, and an awards ceremony, buffet dinner and live music. For more details and a full schedule visit jaypeakresort.com/events.

A Night For Nick – The Full Cleveland - Saturday, March 1, 2025 | 7:00 PM to 11:59 PM

The previous evening, Jay Peak will host A Night For Nick from 7 - 11:59 p.m. in the Foeger Ballroom. The evening will feature live music with Vermont’s premier Yacht Rock group, The Full Cleveland. With a repertoire of '70s hits, blue-eyed soul, and A.M. Gold favorites, The Full Cleveland promises a lively night of music and memories.

The event supports The Reeno Foundation and is in memory of Nick Ruschmeyer (add in here who he is, what’s his connection to Jay, etc). Proceeds raised from a special silent auction during the night will be donated to the Foundation to support outdoor experiences for youth.

Tickets are $20/advance (ages 7+) and $25 the day of the show. Under age 7 is free with an adult. Advanced ticket purchase is suggested as there is limited capacity at the event. Guests can order online and find more details at jaypeakresort.com/events. For more details, visit jaypeakresort.com/events.
