Green Up Day at Jay Peak
Volunteer Details
Be part of the Green Team and lend a hand picking up litter around the resort grounds and trails. Bags and gloves will be provided, and we'll assign clean-up zones at check-in.
Let’s get outside, give back to the mountain, and celebrate the spirit of spring at Jay Peak. See you there!
We like our Green mountains to be clean mountains. Help us keep them that way on Saturday, May 3rd. Green Up Day is a Vermont tradition that started in 1970, and our friends at Miso Hungry want to help us keep that tradition strong for our Jay Peak team.
Join us on May 3rd in the Stateside Parking Lot starting at 9a, in front of Clips & Reels. Mimi Magyar will be onsite with location assignments, gloves, bags, and maps, so we can help clean up our local areas and places to play.
Any folks who fill a bag of roadside, trailside, or swimming hole litter will receive a voucher to Miso Hungry (good through the 25+26 season). Their road-ready cuisine will also be on site from 11a - 2p, serving participants who return with a bag of picked-up litter.
We'd like to give a huge thanks to Miso Hungry for their generous gifts in exchange for greening up.
Reward: The first 75 volunteers will receive a gift certificate for a bowl of ramen from Miso Hungry – redeemable next season.
Map Info: We are working to prepare an enlarged resort map to make assignment areas easier to identify and navigate.
Waste & Returnables: A dumpster will be available near Clips & Reels to dispose of collected trash and returnables for drop-off that afternoon.
