Waiting On Mongo w/special guest - Jelly
Waiting on Mongo is a 7-piece groove bus that's ready to pick you up at the Stateside Amphitheater. They're bringing the funk with special guests - Jelly. This is an earlier show to create a family-forward environment, and it's a perfect time to show the kids how the funk fountain flows at Jay Peak.
And that other band, Jelly? They'll tune into all your senses as well, as they blur the artificial stricture of the multi-genre realm. Deep, right? Maybe 'trippy' is more like it.
Expect ample amounts of high-steepin' funky licks, energetic horns, and deep percussive grooves that will surely soak you with a dose of psychedelia here and there. There, that's better.
