Parting Thoughts was our final page — a little unhinged, occasionally useful, often unnecessary, always very Jay. A place for oddball facts, dry observations, mountain musings, half-serious advice, and the kind of commentary that doesn’t belong anywhere else… which is exactly why it belonged there.
This page is your archive of those closing notes — every Parting Thought (and yes, the occasional Parting Shot) collected and stacked like old lift tickets in a drawer. You can scroll through, revisit the strange ones, rediscover the smart ones, and confirm that, yes, we did print that.
Some will make sense. Some won’t.
