Jay Peak Resort’s 16th Annual Bean & Brew Festival Pours Back into Stateside Base Lodge, Saturday, Oct. 18
All are welcome for an autumn celebration of coffee, craft brews and live music
JAY PEAK, Vt. – [Sept. 9, 2025] – Now in its 16th year, Jay Peak Resort’s Bean & Brew Festival returns on Saturday, Oct. 18, bringing together the Northeast’s most drinkable pair: locally roasted coffee and regional craft beverages. Held at the Stateside Base Lodge from noon to 6:00 p.m., the festival blends the best of Vermont’s small-batch roasters and New England’s brewers, cideries, and fermenters for a full afternoon of sampling, live music, lawn games, and late-fall mountain air.
“This is one of those festivals that sneaks up on people,” said Jay Peak Resort General Manager Steve Wright. “Coffee and beer might sound like opposites, but it turns out they go pretty well together—especially in the kind of community space we try to create with events like this. A lot of good conversations start with a cup or a pint in your hand.”
What began as a laid-back tasting event has grown into a must-attend October tradition, known for its relaxed energy, great pours, and its habit of embracing autumn with both a buzz and a breeze. Guests will enjoy unlimited sampling from a curated list of roasters and brewers, all backed by live music and food available throughout the afternoon.
This year’s musical lineup features Organized Dead, a Vermont-based instrumental ensemble known for reimagining the Grateful Dead’s iconic catalog with a fresh, jazz-infused edge. Anchored by the soulful growl of the Hammond B3 organ—a vintage keyboard staple for bands like the Grateful Dead and The Allman Brothers—the band blends funk, rock, and improvisation into a groove that connects with both longtime Deadheads and first-time listeners.
Friday Night Brew Fest Dinner
The Bean & Brew weekend kicks off on Friday, Oct. 17 with a five-course Brew Fest Dinner at Howie’s Diner, each dish paired with a Vermont-brewed beer from Burlington Beer Company. The menu leans into fall flavors with items like Foie Gras Bratwurst on a pretzel roll, Hungarian Goulash over spaetzle, chicken schnitzel topped with capers and a fried egg, and finishes with a Hot Honey Peach Cheesecake paired with a Double IPA.
Dinner begins at 6:00 p.m. and is priced at $89 per person (excluding tax and gratuity). Seating is limited and advance reservations are required by contacting kmeinke@jaypeakresort.com.
Howie’s Bean & Brew Breakfast
Cap the weekend on Sunday, Oct. 19 with a roaster-themed breakfast, included in the Bean & Brew lodging package or available to walk-up guests for $20 per person. The spread features a homemade bagel bar with fresh cream cheeses and classic toppings, plus a made-to-order omelette station served with golden home fries.
