Jay Peak Resort Announces Decanted

A New Tasting Experience for Kindred Spirits

JAY PEAK, Vt. – [Sept. 24, 2025] – On the afternoon of Saturday, November 1st, Jay Peak Resort invites guests to step into the shadows and raise a glass at Decanted, an all-new spirits tasting event designed to stir the senses and honor the mysteries of the season.

Timed to follow the revelry of Halloween, Decanted channels an atmosphere of midnight gatherings and firelit toasts. The tasting will feature a curated selection of local craft distillers like Barr Hill Gin, Green Mountain Distillers, St Johnsbury Distillery and Backus Distillery Bourbon, and more pouring whiskey, gin, rum, and other libations—each chosen for their depth, character, and artistry. Guests will be encouraged to savor, sample, and discover new favorites while surrounded by music, ambiance, and a touch of the arcane.

“Decanted is more than a tasting—it’s an invitation to linger, to explore spirits both in the glass and in the air,” said Ted Fleischer, Jay Peak Events Manager. “We’re excited to bring this new experience to the resort, one that celebrates craftsmanship and atmosphere in equal measure.”

The event will unfold in a setting that evokes the feeling of a timeless gathering, where warmth, ritual, and indulgence meet. Live music will underscore the atmosphere, while local and regional distillers pour alongside thoughtfully paired bites, creating an experience that lingers like a fine finish. As a prelude to the main event, Jay Peak will also host a five-course bourbon pairing dinner at Alice’s Table on Friday, October 31st.
