JAY PEAK, Vt. — (April 14, 2026) — Jay Peak Resort will host the Third Annual Solstice Sessions on Saturday, June 20, marking the official start of summer in a way that looks a lot like winter. Recently designated as a Vermont Signature Event, Solstice Sessions is one of just ten events statewide recognized annually by the Vermont Department of Tourism and Marketing and the Vermont Chamber of Commerce for showcasing the unique experiences available across the Green Mountain State.

Timed with the Summer Solstice, the event serves as a one-day return to snow, featuring skiing, snowboarding, skateboarding, live music, and a full day of activity centered at the Stateside base area.

Snow for the event is currently being stockpiled and preserved from the 400”+ winter season, with additional snowmaking efforts over recent weeks building reserves to nearly 200,000 cubic feet, surpassing last year’s total. For June 20, that collection will be pushed out and built into a terrain park adjacent to the Stateside Amphitheater, serviced by the Stateside Carpet.

Last year’s setup stretched roughly 900 feet wall-to-wall with 15 unique features. This year’s build is expected to be bigger, deeper, and continue that same backyard-style flow, with a mix of rails and boxes designed for continuous laps.

A limited number of on-snow tickets will be available in three separate 3-hour session blocks:

  • 3-Hour Lift Ticket (9:00 AM – 12:00 PM)
  • 3-Hour Lift Ticket (12:15 PM – 3:15 PM)
  • 3-Hour Lift Ticket (3:30 PM – 6:30 PM)

Lift tickets are $75 if purchased in advance and $100 starting June 6, 2026, if availability remains. Due to the limited nature of the event, all participants will be charged for on-snow access, including children under six. On-snow operations begin at 9:00 a.m., with doors opening at 8:45 a.m.

Beyond the snow surface, the event expands into a full-day experience with live music, a skate ramp, and a growing collection of vendors, artists, and makers contributing to the atmosphere.

Vendors, fine artists, and food operators interested in participating are encouraged to reach out to Cody Gage at cgage@jaypeakresort.com for additional information.

The Stateside Amphitheater serves as the central gathering space, operating rain or shine. No refunds will be issued due to weather.
