Back in 2009, we introduced the world to Raised Jay, a tongue-in-cheek TV campaign built around one simple premise: kids who grow up at Jay Peak are... a little different.
The spots featured children making questionable life choices with unwavering confidence, all in the name of mountain independence. Some viewers laughed. Others wondered if we were encouraging child endangerment. A few let us know exactly how they felt.
Controversy aside, the campaign became one of the resort's most memorable, capturing the rugged, self-reliant spirit of growing up in the Northeast Kingdom with a healthy dose of exaggeration. Twelve years later, they're still funny. Just maybe don't try them at home.
