Learning to ski or ride takes more than one day, which is why the Indy Learn to Turn Pass gives first-timers ages 14+ three visits to get started.
Each visit includes a beginner lesson, rental equipment, and access to beginner terrain with a starting level that fits what you can do on snow.

CHOOSE YOUR
STARTING LEVEL
Tell us where you are when you book. If you’re coming back for another visit, choose the level that fits what you can do now.
First Time
You’ve never skied or snowboarded, or it’s been long enough that you’d like to start from the beginning. You’ll learn on our moving carpet terrain.
Moving Carpet
You’re still working on controlling your speed and direction, or you’re not quite ready for a chairlift. This level gives you more time to build those skills on the moving carpet.
Beginner: Lower Mountain Chairlifts
You can ride a chairlift, control your speed, turn, and stop on beginner terrain. Skiers should be able to turn left and right and stop in a wedge. Snowboarders should be able to turn on both their heel and toe edges.
BOOK YOUR LESSON
Call 802-327-2329 and let us know you're using an Indy Learn to Turn Pass. Have your passholder info and preferred date ready.
You must reserve a lesson before each visit to Jay.
