A quick note to remind all of us that this evening begins our Presidents' Week holiday period which runs through Sunday February 21st, followed immediately by our Vermont Vacation Week which runs through Sunday February 28th. While these periods will feature fewer guests than in year's past, State of Vermont operating guidance relating to indoor spaces, lift loading and maze management, and shuttle restrictions will give the campus a very busy feel.
All this being said, we need to be conscious of doing what we can to keep ourselves safe, holding guests accountable to our operating guidelines to help keep them safe and, at the same time, delivering a great experience for our guests who have likely been looking forward to this trip since they booked it months ago. The difficulty in juggling these, at times, disparate objectives is not lost on me; neither is the need to still do what we can to accomplish them.
Luckily both recent and forward-looking weather has worked in our favor and we have earned some great experience about how to manage ourselves and our guests through these protocols. Do what you can, work together, help wherever possible and keep leading from the front as you have been all season.
It's going to be a great few weeks and I appreciate everyone sticking together through them.
