2017+18 Ski & Ride Season

Earlier Opening

Given a great run of snowmaking and the hustle from both Mother and Father Nature (Dave Heath and his crew), we’re going to be able to open to the public this Saturday, November 18th.  We plan on staying open both Saturday and Sunday before closing operations Monday the 20th through, and including, Thanksgiving day. We will reopen Friday the 24th for daily operations. Public ticket prices will be $49 for Adults and $39 for Juniors and it appears skiing and riding will be for advanced level riders and skiers only, on The Jet.  The Jet Triple Chair will run 8:30a-4p on 11/18-19.  This weekend, we will have limited food and beverage operations in our Stateside Base Lodge, our Gear retail shop will be open as will Stateside Rentals and Repairs; Jay Peak Ski and Ride School will open for the season beginning Friday November 24th.

More importantly, and closer to home, we will be opening the resort this Friday the 17th, from 9a-4p exclusively for Employees, Season Passholders and Jay Peak Homeowners ONLY.

You'll just need your season pass to get on the Jet (or if you're a homeowner without a Season Pass, you can use your POW Card to get a free lift ticket for 11/17). If you still need to collect your 2017+18 Season Pass, our Jay Peak Tramside Customer Service will be open Tuesday 11/14-Sunday 11/18 from 8a-4p, and Friday 11/17-Sunday 11/19 on Stateside from 8a-4p.  The Stateside Baselodge will also be open the 17th with limited food and beverage operations.

Allowing early access to our stakeholders is an appropriate way to show how much we value them. There is no more important group than our team of employees and it is critical that we get them, and all of us, excited for the season. Given how much skiing and riding means to all of us, and the brand we represent, there’s no better way to do that than by getting on the mountain. Their dependent family members are also welcome but must have a Jay Peak Season Pass to access the terrain.

If you have any questions, feel free to connect with me directly at swright@jaypeakresort.com.
On behalf of everyone that calls Jay Peak home, thanks for your hard work and welcome to the season.
