We spend a lot of money on our Jay Peak Season Passholder Appreciation packages. The time we spend in terms of thinking about the smallest possible detail is even greater. We’ve been accused of spending too much money, too much time and too much energy on something we aren’t getting a direct return on. These are ski areas and ski resorts we are friends with (not from Vermont tho). The reason that they’re making more direct revenue than we are and spending not one nickel on packages saying thanks; "The pass itself is thanks enough" is a direct quote, I shit you not.

This isn’t any sort of tome against the opinions of our competitors. But it’s an easy way to articulate the difference between not only what we bring to the table, but how we set the table in the first place. Guests dedicating their season to Jay Peak is more than critical to us, it’s precious. Does it help with cashflow during a time of year we desperately need it? It sure does, but while we’re beyond thankful for that, you showing us you’re part of Us, by being willing to spend the season here, hits us in a way that’s tougher to describe and even more challenging to thank you for.

So, since the winter of 2017, we’ve tried to do a few things. First off, surprise you. Getting a box full of Jay Peak wearables and shareables is a way to both say thanks and a method by which you can pass Jay Peak forward to your friends and whatever deserving cohort you decide. Passing the Jay, so-to-speak.

Now this sort of love, like many forms of love alas, can’t last forever. And this year, it only lasts when you buy your pass by Monday, October 14th, if you purchased an Adult, Junior, Senior (65-74), or U29 Pass to be eligible for the gift package. Will we lose our minds if your Canadian check from Boundary Peak 187 lands on Tuesday the 15th, likely not. But show us some hustle anyway.

This deadline is it though. The 14th deadline gets you the best available rate on a season of Jay Peak and it’s your last shot at getting on the list for this year’s Season Pass Holder Appreciation package. We’ve mailed these out in the past but this year they’ll be available at our new Jay Peak Season Passholder party (and to pick up at Customer Service). We’ve had them in our Bullwheel Bar in the past but we’ve, clearly if you’ve been recently, outgrown that space. This year we’re heading into the Foeger Ballroom with more bars, better food, bands, and as much Jay Peak schwag as we can uncomfortably wedge into one room. That’ll happen on Saturday, December 21st and we’ll be sending out a save-the-date for that soon.

So. Purchase by Monday the 14th and you get the best available rate on a Jay Peak Season Pass, you get last dibs on the Passholder Appreciation Package list and an exclusive invite to the new Season Passholder party. All of this is our best attempt to help you both enjoy and Pass, the Jay.
