From Snowbanks to Soundchecks: Jay Peak Resort Announces 2026 Summer Music Series

JAY PEAK, Vt. — (May 4, 2026) — Jay Peak Resort will once again turn up the volume this summer, announcing the return of its Summer Music Series at the Stateside Amphitheater. The five-show lineup will run through July and August, continuing a long-standing tradition of live music in the Northeast Kingdom.

Music has been part of the fabric of the Jay Peak community longer than many realize. Well before the construction of the Stateside Amphitheater, before full lineups and stacked weekends, the Resort hosted the August West Festival, a modest afternoon gathering rooted in a shared appreciation for the Grateful Dead and the close-knit community of this rural region.

Now in its 22nd year, that single afternoon event has evolved into a robust summer series at a venue purpose-built to elevate live music in northern Vermont. Over the years, the Stateside Amphitheater has welcomed acts such as Strangefolk, Joe Russo’s Almost Dead, Dark Star Orchestra, and Widespread Panic, helping establish Jay Peak as a growing music destination focused on high-quality events with a commitment to access-over-exclusivity. Ticket prices are intentionally kept low, no additional service fees are charged, and children aged six and under get free access with a ticketed adult.

2026 Summer Music Series Lineup:

• 11th Annual Jeezum Crow Festival Friday & Saturday, July 10–11 The series kicks off with the Jeezum Crow Festival, the Amphitheater’s inaugural event now in its 11th year. Headliners The Disco Biscuits and Yonder Mountain String Band lead a lineup blending jam and roots music, joined by Railroad Earth, Charlie Parr, Magoo, and more. Two-day advance tickets are $60 plus tax.
• The Allman Betts Band Saturday, July 25 Featuring guitarists Devon Allman and Duane Betts and building on the legacy of their fathers, Allman & Betts, by creating a new soundtrack rooted in rock, blues, and southern soul. Advance tickets are $49 plus tax.
• 22nd Annual August West Festival Saturday, August 8 (12 p.m.-5 p.m.) This free, family-friendly festival returns to The Green in the Town of Jay, celebrating the music and community inspired by the Grateful Dead. The afternoon event features live music from Dead Sessions Lite and Rick Redington and Tuff Luv, food and craft vendors, and activities including commemorative tshirt tie-dye.
• Oteil & Friends with special guest Seth Yacovone Band Saturday, August 8 The music continues that evening at the Stateside Amphitheatre as Oteil Burbridge leads a night rooted in groove, improvisation, and deep musical ties, with Vermont’s Seth Yacovone Band opening. Together, August West and Oteil & Friends create an almost-festival experience, with music stretching from afternoon into the night. Advance tickets are $49 plus tax.
• Daniel Donato’s Cosmic Country Saturday, August 15 Closing out the series, Daniel Donato brings his signature “Cosmic Country” sound, blending traditional country with high-energy improvisation, for a unique night in the mountains. Tickets are $35 plus tax.

Across the Summer Music Series, guests can enhance their concert experience by bundling tickets with lodging located just steps from the venue, along with access to the Pump House Indoor Waterpark. Packages start at $204 per night for two guests.
