At Jay Peak, we all have something good to share, and Opening Day is full of first chances to do just that. Maybe it's a sage, goggleless grunt from a local as they ski by, or a shared slice of pocket pizza split in half on the chairlift. Or, offering up 750 free lift tickets online to the first folks who sign up. However it happens, let's start the 25+26 winter season off right, and then left too.
Our teams have begun building the base at Stateside—the spot where every Jay winter begins. This year’s upgrades to our snowmaking system mean more coverage, more efficiency, and a stronger, more consistent early-season start.

Opening day here at Jay Peak is a tradition of good-natured competition for who will get first chair and whose legs will last the longest lapping the Jet. Everyone in the Jay Peak community is welcome to sign up for one of 750 free lift tickets to join us for our first day of the 2025+26 Ski & Ride Season on Friday November 28th. Registration for these tickets will open on Tuesday 11/11 at noon. Stop back here at that time for the link.
No public lift tickets on Friday—just a mountain full of familiar faces celebrating the start of another season together. Jay Peak will open fully, and for all, on Saturday, November 29th.

Before the lifts start spinning, Alice’s Table will host its annual Thanksgiving Buffet on Thursday, November 27, from 11 AM to 6 PM—a perfect way to settle in before a weekend of skiing, riding, and relaxing.
The buffet features all the classics (and then some), with roasted turkey, prime rib, seasonal sides, and plenty of dessert.
