Brew Fest Dinner

A celebration of food, beer, and culture during the month of October.
6:00pm to 8:00pm

Burlington Beer Company and Jay Peak are teaming up again for a one-night-only Brew Fest Dinner, the night before the 16th Annual Bean & Brew Festival on Saturday, October 18th.

Chefs at Howie’s Diner will prepare a curated 5-course menu, each dish paired with an 8-ounce pour from Burlington Beer Company. Expect plates like deviled eggs with IPA beer jelly, foie gras bratwurst in a pretzel roll, Hungarian goulash, chicken schnitzel, and hot honey peach cheesecake—each matched to a different Burlington Beer Co. brew.

  • Dinner begins at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, October 17th, 2025.
  • Guests are asked to arrive 15 minutes early.
  • Plan for at least two hours of food, beer, and conversation.

The 16th Annual Bean & Brew Festival follows the next day, Saturday, October 18th. Tickets are $35 and include twelve sampling tickets, a commemorative glass, and live music.

1st Course

Deviled Eggs

Spicy deviled eggs with bacon, crispy shallots and IPA beer jelly

  • Paired with: Elaborate Metaphor – New England Style Pale Ale – 5.4%

2nd Course

Foie Gras Bratwurst

Served in a pretzel roll and topped with Dijon mustard, nettle kraut, and shaved radishes accompanied by tossed greens in a lemon vinaigrette

  • Paired with: Doom Wizard – Double IPA w/ blackberries & currants – 8%

3rd Course

Hungarian Goulash

Pork Stew made with Kraut, Onions, Tomato, Paprika and Marjoram.  Served over Fresh Spaetzle and garnished with Sour Cream and Parsley.

  • Paired with: Study Hall – Maple Coffee Amber Ale – 5.5%

4th Course

Chicken Schnitzel

Breaded Chicken Thigh topped with Capers, Roasted Red Peppers, Anchovies, Fried Egg and Parsley.  Served with Mashed Potatoes.

  • Paired with: Little Wizard – New England IPA – 6%

5th Course

Hot Honey Peach Cheesecake

Creamy cheesecake with peach filling, cinnamon base, shortbread, and hot honey drizzle.

  • Paired with: Donuts & Druids Cold Hollow Collab – Apple Cider Donut Wee Heavy Amber Ale – 7%
