NEK Tipsy Talks Storytelling Series
The fourth annual NEK Tipsy Talks Storytelling Series will return to Jay Peak Resort at 5:30 PM on Tuesday, March 3rd, 2026! Tipsy Talks aims to draw locals and visitors out of the house in the middle of the week during our long, dark winters to gather at local establishments for a few drinks and bites while listening to friends, neighbors, and strangers tell stories, tales, and tidbits of their captivating experiences and passions.
Over the past four years, we have listened to tales on a range of topics including 19th century mining and logging, southern border refugee humanitarian work, marathon swimming, worldwide travels, short stories, eclectic musical endeavors, mental health & music, a writing workshop, caving, craft ciders and cheeses, and more. This year’s lineup is an eclectic mix of fascinating, humorous, and heart-warming stories from some of the region’s most colorful characters.
This edition includes talks from three locals, Jim Judd, Donna Young, and John Witherspoon on the following topics:
- Sailing Seattle to AK (Jim Judd)
- Travels to China (Donna Young)
- A2A: Alaska to Argentina (John Witherspoon)
Watch past Tipsy Talks on NEKTV's YouTube Channel and mark your calendars for the 2026 season!
