Midweek at Jay can get a little quiet. So we’re fixing that with amps, acoustics, and whatever song you’ve been practicing in your living room.

Join us at the Tower Bar on Tramside for Open Mic Tuesdays, running from 5–8 p.m. through March, with a hopeful encore in April. This is a low-pressure, high-vibe kind of thing. Perfect for shaking the dust off your guitar case, testing a new tune, or just grabbing a drink and seeing what the local talent’s been cooking up.

Expect acoustic riffs, surprise covers, original songs, and the occasional “I can’t believe that just happened” moment. Amateur musicians welcome. Enthusiastic listeners encouraged. Après crowd approved.

If you want to play, sign-ups happen day-of with your hosts, Dan and Dan, no advance planning required, just show up ready to make some noise (the good kind). We've even got guitars, keys, and percussion available for public use.
