Happy Thanksgiving

Another Opening Day Eve here and just when we thought things couldn’t get any weirder, we’ll open tomorrow, Friday the 27th, in the middle of a global pandemic. I’d suggest that this will create a ceiling of strangeness, even for us, but I know better.
 
Regardless, or likely because of, the only reason we’re at this point is because all of you. Those that have been working since the shutdown, those who’s schedules have been altered, those just being brought back after 8 months of head scratching and, maybe especially, those still on the sidelines waiting to be tapped in. Through it, we’ve all been trying to figure out how to build an operating schedule, while simultaneously figuring out our own lives; managing households and school schedules and all of things that are required to stay-on even as the world, for better or worse, shuts down. 

Thanksgiving is as good a time as any to step back and take stock. Not just at those places in our lives we’re thankful to have arrived at, but the particular road it took to get there. I know for sure I’m thankful for all of you, all we’ve been through, and everything else coming at us, whatever it is. We’ll figure it out. We always do.

So here’s to another good, long season, of great service, everyone staying safe and big storms landing right when they should.
