Step into the shadowed season and raise a glass where the mountains meet the spirits. Decanted is not just another tasting, it is a gathering of Vermont’s boldest distillers, along with select cider producers, pouring their latest releases under the glow of autumn’s last light.
Inside, you will find more than pours. Producers themselves will lead interactive tastings, sharing the craft and character behind every sip. Jay Peak’s culinary team will join the mix with signature pairings and light appetizers designed to complement the spirits being served. Music will drift throughout the day, carrying you from one tasting to the next, while just outside the ballroom doors, the mountain sets the scene.
When the last pour is served, follow the trail to The Foundry, where exclusive food and drink specials will be available for Decanted guests.

Bourbon Dinner — The Night Before Decanted
Friday, October 31st | 6:00–9:00 PM | Alice’s Table
Ease into the weekend with a five-course culinary journey crafted by Jay Peak’s chefs and Smugglers’ Notch Distillery. Each course is paired with a bourbon-based cocktail featuring Smugglers’ Notch Straight Bourbon Whiskey, from a Bourbon Peach Smash starter to a Chocolate Manhattan finale.
This intimate dinner sets the tone for Decanted, offering a refined evening of food, spirits, and conversation in Alice’s Table inside Hotel Jay.

The festival takes place in the Foeger Ballroom at Hotel Jay. This spacious indoor venue offers a comfortable setting for tastings, pairings, and live entertainment. Rain or shine, the event goes on.
