Smugglers’ Notch Distillery and Jay Peak are partnering for a special one-night-only Bourbon Dinner at Alice’s Table, the evening before our inaugural Decanted: A tasting event for kindred spirits, on Saturday, November 1st.
Chefs at Alice’s Table will present a thoughtfully crafted 5-course meal, each dish paired with a bourbon-based cocktail made using Smugglers’ Notch Distillery Straight Bourbon Whiskey. The evening’s lineup includes seafood purses with bourbon peach smash, butternut squash soup with smoked old fashioned, bibb salad with a mint julep, beef Wellington with a neat pour over an ice block, and a flourless chocolate torte with a chocolate Manhattan.
The Decanted tasting event follows the next day, Saturday, November 1st, from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. in the Foeger Ballroom.
A seafood purse of shrimp, scallops, lobster, julienne vegetables, and vodka sauce.
With roasted apples and crème fraîche.
With endive, heart of palm, tomato, and a mustard vinaigrette.
Served with Boursin mashed potatoes, grilled asparagus, and a black pepper bourbon demi.
With Chantilly cream and raspberry Grand Marnier.
