Step into the shadowed season and raise a glass where the mountains meet the spirits. The Decanted isn’t just another tasting—it’s a gathering of Vermont’s boldest distillers plus specialty wine and cider producers, pouring their latest releases under the glow of autumn’s last light.
Inside, you’ll find more than pours. Producers themselves will lead interactive tastings, pulling back the curtain on craft and character. Jay Peak’s eateries join in with signature pairings—small bites designed to meet their match in glass. Music drifts throughout the day, carrying you from one sip to the next, while just beyond the ballroom doors, the mountain keeps its watchful backdrop.
Following the event, join us at one of our on-site eateries before the trek home.

Tickets include 5 tasting tickets, small bites, a commemorative tasting glass, and live entertainment.

The festival takes place in the Foeger Ballroom at Hotel Jay. This spacious indoor venue offers a comfortable setting for tastings, pairings, and live entertainment. Rain or shine, the event goes on.
