Some team members not only do their job but they shape the way this place feels in the process. They show up ready, shift after shift, and consistently deliver the kind of experience that keeps guests coming back. This monthly recognition is our way of celebrating those steady standouts who lead by example, carry the culture, and bring their best every day.
Nominations come from fellow team members and managers alike, and the more specific you can be when shouting someone out, the better. Each month, we’ll announce finalists and the winner at the all-staff meeting.
One winner will be chosen each month, and both the finalists and the winner will be acknowledged at the monthly staff meeting. The winner will get a place on the Hotel Jay wall and receive a package of resort prizes including things like:

Monique has been a supervisor in Reservations Supervisor for a while now - quietly fixing things on the back and and moving along. She takes pride in guiding the team through difficult situations as they arise. By applying her calm, soothing demeanor to these situations, she is able to help our guests or agents get through things unscathed. She frequently helps shuffle reservations around to ensure everyone is where they need to be, supporting front desk on evenings and weekends, moving things around like a Jedi Tetris player.
Monique's ability to assist these staff, agents and co-workers in her calm and quiet way are what helps many to get through the day sometimes.
I wish I could list all the times in the past month that she has helped a guest or a co worker, but to be honestly I cannot because if she had not been able to assist them, that is when the information would come to me.
We never really hear about those that just assist and move on with the day like it is any other day.
I would like to take this opportunity to bring her to light and nominate here for Employee of the month this month.
We have survived another winter season and are still here to share about it, thanks to those quiet members who just fix things and chug along. Thank you Monique for your hard work and calmness to balance things out around here.

I am nominating Monique for Employee of the Month for her exceptional assistance and support in our office over the past few months.
Monique demonstrates a unique personality which is calm and collected especially when there's an issue with a challenging or unhappy guest. There are many examples in which Monique was able to resolve the issue with a calm attitude.
Monique is always ready to assist the Staff and answer questions.... She never says 'No, I am too busy right now"!!!
